Club History
1932
Club First Formed
A group of workers formed the Chinese Football team, the club changed its name to the Eastern Athletic Association and was officially established in 1932.
1990's
Eastern Dynasty
Starting between 1992 and 1995, Eastern dominated Hong Kong football League, winning three consecutive First Division titles.. During the 1993/94 and 1994/95 seasons, the club won the treble, capturing all three major trophies in both seasons.
2014-15
Basketball Team Formed
At 2014, the club formed Eastern basketball team and began to invite foreign players, wanted to win the second-division league championship and advance to challenge the A-2 division basketball leagues.
In July 2015, Eastern won the championship of A-2 division leauge 2 weeks ahead of schedule and were promoted. Later on , The Club has announced to formated a professional basketball team and invite Some Hong Kong men’s basketball team players E.g. Li Ki, Chan Siu wing and Poon Chi Ho to join.
2016-17
Won The First HKPL Champions & Challenge AFC Champions League
In 2016, Eastern won the 2015/16 Hong Kong Premier League under the guidance of Chan Yuen Ting, becoming the first men’s professional association football team to win a domestic, top flight championship under the management of a woman. Eastern lost only one game in the 2015–16 season under Chan.
In the 2016/17 season, Eastern marked the first time for a Hong Kong club to compete in the group stage of AFC Champions League. Eastern finished the ACL campaign with 1 draw and 5 Lost matches in their group stage.
2016
Won The ABL Champions League Title
成為職業籃球隊後，東方體育會公布成為香港首支參與東南亞職業籃球聯賽(ABL)並將以”香港東方” 之名出戰本地及海外賽事，2017年2月，球會宣佈簽入前NBA球隊新澤西籃網球員祖舒·布恩外援身份出戰ABL。2017年首度參賽，東方以20戰16勝4負佳績提早3輪成為ABL常規賽冠軍王者，亦以180球刷新單季最多三分球紀錄成為單季最高紀錄。球員艾利諾累積497分以2分之差刷新紀錄，成為ABL常規賽史上單季最高得分球員，更成為當季ABL的最有價值球員和得分王及助攻王。
於ABL季後賽在四強三局二勝制擊敗西貢熱火，晉身ABL季後賽總決賽。於5場3勝制的總決賽，香港東方經過2次加時後擊敗新加坡騰飛之師，以場數3–1首度參賽即奪得冠軍，並成為ABL史上首支來自香港的總冠軍。
Introduction & purpose
東方體育會成立於1932年，會下設有足球及籃球隊。
足球隊是目前香港超級聯賽參賽列強之中，歷史為最悠久之一，至今曾5度奪得香港頂級聯賽冠軍，其他榮譽還包括11次高級組銀牌冠軍、5次足總盃及2次總督盃錦標。當中曾於1990年代更曾創造「東方王朝」輝煌時刻，包括連續於1992/93年及1993/94年加冕「三冠王」榮譽。
2019/20球季，成功捧走足總盃及高級組銀牌冠軍，成為雙料盃賽盟主，繼2017年後再度進軍亞洲賽事之主賽圈。2022亞協盃球隊在分組賽J組中以兩戰全勝姿態首名出線，是球隊創會九十年以來首次殺入亞協盃淘汰賽階段。
籃球隊方面，於2015年組成香港史上首支職業籃球隊，角逐東南亞職業籃球聯賽(ABL)和香港甲一籃球聯賽。在東南亞職業籃球聯賽香港東方成為首支參賽之香港隊伍，並於2016年奪得冠軍，成為史上首支來自香港的總冠軍；翌年在香港甲一籃球聯賽總決賽中，落後局數0-2下，反勝對手，奪得首個本地聯賽總冠軍錦標。
東方體育會亦在場上爭取佳績之餘，在場外亦致力回餽社區，包括舉行學校探訪活動，發掘小將潛能逐夢，配以計劃完善的訓練，培養出優秀的運動員，並將公平競技的體育精神帶入校園。
